What is 'Heart-centred' council?

Imagine a quiet room with a central candle lighting a circular altar - decorated according to the time of year

Imagine a group of people sitting, timelessly as they would have met in years gone by in Sacred Circle (for an agreed length of time, such as an hour)

Imagine being invited to sit in silence and tune into the circle, the time of year, to what the spirit of place, season or circle is seeking to articulate

Imagine being invited to speak from your heart - place of unconditional love and compassion

Imagine being fully heard and witnessed from that place

Imagine speaking on behalf of yourself or from the spirit of nature

Imagine the depth of community that can be felt - not just our human form, but all of life can be with us - guiding and prompting our gathering

This is a taste of what heart-centred council can be like. Words are elusive when trying to describe this mysterious and ancient way of meeting as a tribe in circle. And it feels like coming home ....
