My name is Sarah Partridge. I am an experienced Yoga teacher, trained by The British Wheel of Yoga. Since 1992 I have been teaching gentle Hatha Yoga - infused with moments of stillness and relaxation to nourish body, heart and soul.
I have taught at Further Education colleges in Suffolk and in recent years enjoyed working as a freelance consultant/writer for National Institute for Adults Continuing Education. As well as Yoga, I train others to deliver courses in personal development. In the last few years I have been developing Living the Wheel of The Year courses and workshops that are infused with everything that I care deeply about and bring together a coherent sense of what I am about. In working in this way - I am living my dream.

From an early age I felt there was much to learn from being in Nature. I was born into a family of gardeners and became an ardent horticulturalist. During the late 80s - whilst my 3 children were small, my husband and I set up and ran a 4 acre organic small-holding - providing Suffolk people with Soil Association eggs, goats milk and vegetables. We were also a Working Weekends On Organic Farms host - teaching the art of growing from doing.
I have been working with the Wheel of the Year all my life - learning from Nature's cycles - her seasons and elements, the Solstices and Equinoxes and natural festivals in between. In 1998 I began a research project with a fantastic group of people here in Suffolk. It was called 'Nature as Educator', and its primary aim was to examine and document the benefits of increased awareness of, and attunement to, the Celtic Festivals. Although this research was for my MA dissertation in Education, it formed the basis for the work that I now offer. Living the Wheel of The Year is informed by 8 years observations and adherence to celebrating the Celtic Festivals with like-minded others. My work is inspired by learnings from this turning wheel. I look forward to meeting you, hearing something of your journey and sharing something of my insights with you.
