AUTUMN RAG RUGS

Trees aflame

vivid, flickering

hues

Reflect

and return

Heat of longest

summer

To valient

dimming

sun.

Each leaf

burns

with

luminous

warmth

Flurring

a spectacular

death

Windswept

into rag-rugs

of amber.
