SPRING POST
Spring pops out -
light green leaves emerge, tiny like fingernails of a new born,
golden fluff on the pussywillow radiates with the sun,
dancer pink of the cherry blossom oscillates on slender stem,
lungwort with its luninescent blue hugs the barely warm earth.
Spring pops out one day
like an unexpected package through the letter box
ready for opening after a swift pee at the wrapping.
Before, nothing but closed door and a dark entrance hall
then sheer cries of delight and unanswered queries of wonder.
Where from? How did it get here?
Singular delivery system operates here.
